Empty Chairs

The creative inspiration for this project originates from a psychotherapeutic technique known as the "empty chair technique." It involves two chairs facing each other—one occupied by oneself and the other by an imagined conversational partner. Through this distant dialogue, I delve deep into my inner self, integrating my perceptions and personality. The chairs symbolize a connection between different phases of myself, bearing distinct memories and emotions yet intricately linked.

At the exhibition, each piece is accompanied by an empty chair placed in front, inviting viewers to act as third-party observers. I hope they can peer into and feel the dialogue happening between myself and the audience through these empty chairs.
